Welcome to the Future of Animal Platforms
AnimalOOO creates a platform to simplify everyday life for animal lovers while making an ethical and sustainable change in the animal industry – all based on the latest research. We collaborate with, among others, Stockholm University and are supported by the government research institute Formas, Stockholm University Innovation, as well as Vinnova and Södertälje Science Park.
The first step is to create a completely new, innovative breeding tool. A tool that will fundamentally change current breeding practices. The aim is to help animal breeds and populations become healthier and more sustainable. Genetic diversity is absolutely crucial for our future.
We know that breeding with a focus on conservation and with more genes in circulation results in fewer genetic diseases, reduces the risk of infection, increases reproductive capacity, leads to a longer lifespan, and better health for the animals. Healthier and stronger animals benefit everyone—owners, breeders, farmers, and not least, the animals themselves.
Creating value, together
Together with animal organizations, breed associations, and researchers, we are currently developing the breeding tool. Our own team has broad expertise in the animal industry and crucial, cutting-edge technical expertise.
We are now working with selected breed associations for several species—such as cows, sheep, dogs, and cats—to build and test the tool. Our breeding tool is completely independent of species, as well as country and breed.
Together, we will create a better and more sustainable animal industry.
